The journey
This trek provides an abundance of knowledge about the Nepalese mountain way of life, ethnic differences, and a moderate expedition in the Himalayas. The journey begins from the Lake City of Pokhara, Nepal, and winds through rich subtropical forests and conventional cultivating fields to Annapurna Base Camp. Along the way, you will trek through fascinating traditional villages, visit Ghorepani and Poon Hill, and relax at Jhinu Hot Spring. The route also offers views of Mt. Annapurna, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Annapurna III.

Welcome to Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal.
Sightseeing tour at Kathmandu Valley.
Drive or fly to Pokhara - a 25-minute flight or a 6-7 hour drive.
Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul and trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m), taking 6-7 hours.
Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (2840m), taking 5-6 hours.
Hike to Poon Hill and trek to Tadapani (2610m), taking 5 hours.
Trek from Tadapani to Chhomorong (2140m), taking 5-6 hours.
Trek from Chhomorong to Dovan (2500m), taking 5-6 hours.
Trek from Dovan to Machhapuchre Base Camp (3700m), taking 4 hours.
Trek from Machhapuchre Base Camp to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m), taking 3 hours.
