Meet your English-speaking Ecuadorian guide at an agreed-upon point in Riobamba and transfer to the Carihuairazo refuge.
Enjoy a mild trek in the afternoon.
Have an early dinner to prepare for the climb later.
Start climbing at 2 am and trek to the glacier and summit by 6-8 am.
Transfer out to the Chimborazo low refuge at 3,840 meters.
Transfer to Carrel refuge at 4,800 meters.
Have an early dinner at 10 pm.
Start the ascent during the night.
Reach the summit by 6-8 am.
Return to the refuge and transfer out to Riobamba.
