Day by day
Arrive in Berau from Balikpapan/Samarinda by flight. Meet your English-speaking Indonesian guide at a predecided location.
Visit the museum and trace the culture and history of the local people.
Depart for Wahau, a small city in Muara Wahau district.
Overnight stay in Wahau.
Early in the morning, visit the traditional market to buy everything you need for the jungle.
Depart for Wehea Protection Forest in a comfortable car. The forest is home to the Bornean orangutans, and there are as many as 750 orangutans there.
Trek in the jungle and stay overnight.
Early in the morning, after breakfast, visit the Borneo Waterfall. Enjoy this gift of nature and click pictures of the scenic landscape.
After breakfast, venture out of the jungle.
Depart for Berau, where the airport will connect you to your next trip.
