The itinerary

Day 01

Explore Lesnovo Village and Its Sacred Surroundings

Meet your tour guide, who will pick you up from your accommodation in Skopje and transfer you to Lesnovo. Accommodation will be in the home of a village family.
Visit the Lesnovo Monastery (1341) and climb to Ilinski Vrv (1127 m), where we will go to the hermitage cave of St. Gavril Lesnovski at the very top.
Enjoy the beautiful panoramic views from above over Lesnovo and the surrounding area. We will then slowly descend through a thick forest towards Lesnovo and stop for a coffee break.
Head to the open-air millstone and the small ethnological exhibition in the former school in Lesnovo.
Walk a short distance to the Lesnovo Mill Caves and the Cave Church of St. Bogoroditsa. We will also look at the attractive gorge section of Lesnovska Reka and the terrain with remnants of strong volcanic activity from the past.
Go back and have lunch together in a nice ethnic restaurant in the village. We will spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the wonderful nature, tranquillity, and God's peace available to us at our accommodation.

Have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 02

Discover the Zletovo River, Waterfalls, and Lake Kneževo

Have breakfast and transfer to Zletovo to see the old pottery workshop.
Head along the attractive Zletovo River, where we will visit the beautiful monasteries of St. Bogoroditsa Balaklia and St. Spiridon the Wonderworker.
See three beautiful waterfalls and an authentic old mill.
Taste sweets and juice made from raspberries, wild cherries, and dogwoods in a rural household on the mountain.
Head to Lake Kneževo, where we will enjoy the beautiful nature and a walk around the lake through this clean ecological area. Afterwards, we will go for lunch together in a restaurant located in the beautiful nature of Zletovska Reka.
Return to your accommodation in Skopje to conclude the tour.
