The itinerary

Day 01

Kinabatangan River Cruise and Gomantong Cave

Meet your guide for pick-up from Sandakan Airport or your hotel at 08:00 am.
Visit Gomantong Cave to see one of the world's best-managed bird's nest caves.
Check in at a river resort and have lunch.
Embark on a Kinabatangan River cruise in search of Borneo pygmy elephants, orangutans, proboscis monkeys, hornbills, birds, and other wildlife along the river.
Return to the lodge at dusk for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Ox-Bow Lake Cruise and Jungle Walk

At 6:30 am, embark on a morning river cruise to Ox-Bow Lake.
Go on a nature and jungle walk to observe the local flora and fauna.
Have lunch and enjoy your free time.
Set out on another river cruise at 4:00 pm to search for wildlife.
Have dinner at the lodge restaurant.

Day 03

Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre and Transfer

Have breakfast and check out from the lodge.
Visit the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, opened in 1964 as the first official orangutan rehabilitation project for rescued orphaned baby orangutans from logging sites, plantations, illegal hunting, or captivity as pets.
Transfer to Sandakan Airport or your hotel.
