The itinerary

Day 01

Hike from Gubeikou to Jinshanling

Your guide and driver will pick you up at 7:30 AM from your hotel lobby.
It is around a 2-hour drive to the border of Hebei province.
The hike starts on a less renovated section of the Great Wall, where tourists are few and new views unfold.
Just before reaching the restricted military zone, you will take a detour off the wall and up a hilltop, where you can enjoy a fantastic 360-degree view of the Great Wall winding over the mountain ridges and onward.
The hike becomes easier as you approach the Great Wall at Jinshanling.
Please bring appropriate snacks and water for this long walk.
Lunch includes authentic Chinese food.
Return to the hotel.
