Day 01

Explore Beijing's Historic Heart

Pick up from your hotel at 8 am and drive to Tiananmen Square with your English-speaking Chinese tour guide. Near the remarkable Tiananmen Square, you can visit the Tiananmen Tower, the Monument to the People's Heroes, the Great Hall of the People, Chairman Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, and see the national flag-raising ceremony.
Explore the Forbidden City, also known as the Imperial City, the Chinese imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Climb Coal Hill to see Jingshan Park, an imperial park located right behind the Forbidden City, and enjoy a bird's-eye view of the Forbidden City.
Savor delicious Chinese food for lunch.
Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the Hutongs (ticket USD 20 per person extra) and see an acrobatics show in the evening (ticket USD 30 per person extra).
Drop-off at your hotel.

Day 02

Mutianyu Great Wall and Ming Tombs Excursion

Pick up from your hotel at 8 am. Visit the famous China Jade Factory to see how jade is carved.
Drive to the Ming Tombs, one of Beijing's major historic landmarks.
See one of the best-preserved tombs from the Ming Dynasty. Walk through the magnificent halls to the Hall of Eminent Favors, which contains a statue of the Yongle Emperor and a beautiful interior with cedarwood columns.
Take a chair-lift ride up the Great Wall of China at Mutianyu, known for its Ming Dynasty guard towers, and take in stunning panoramic views of the wall snaking into the distance (chair-lift and toboggan ticket plus shuttle bus ticket USD 20 per person extra).
Before returning to your hotel, enjoy a traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 03

Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace Tour

Pick up from your hotel and drive to the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven is located on the southeastern side of the Forbidden City. It is China's largest existing structure for sacrifice.
Proceed to the Silk Factory and discover how silk is made.
On the way to the Summer Palace, make a quick stop at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Stadium, the Bird's Nest.
Marvel at the Summer Palace, China's largest and best-preserved existing imperial garden, and one of the four famous gardens in China.
Drive back to your hotel.
