Day 01

Science Museum and Thames Heritage Walk

Take a morning tour of the Science Museum and look at some of the inventions pioneered in London, along with the stories of the people behind them.
After lunch, walk along the River Thames, pondering the history of London's Thames bridges with your English tour guide.

Day 02

Industrial Innovation in the Lea Valley

Take a morning walk overlooking the sites connected with industrial innovation in the Lea Valley. You will see buildings associated with railways, gas production, distilling, and one of Bazalgette's cathedrals of sewage.
In the afternoon, visit the Brunel Museum, based near Marc Brunel's pioneering tunnel under the River Thames, depending on opening times.
Alternatively, you may visit Trinity Buoy Wharf or House Mill.

Day 03

Woolwich Arsenal, Greenwich and the Thames

In the morning, take a walk around the site of Woolwich Royal Arsenal, the largest weapons factory in the world during the 19th century.
Proceed to the Greenwich Heritage Centre.
After lunch, take a trip down the Thames by riverboat and pass through the Thames Barrier with your English tour guide.
Marvel at King's Cross Station, where old railway buildings have been repurposed for the 21st century.
