Day 01

Ribeira Principal Walk from Serra

Start from the village of Serra, at the small market.
Enjoy the beauty of the lower gorge, the isolated houses, and the forested view on the opposite side of the Ribeira, with its lush oasis of mango trees and sugarcane.
Witness the locals coming and going, carrying water from the tank, and perhaps sugarcane or wood.
Descend slightly to the lowest part of the Ribeira, where it ends, for your transfer or a refreshment break.
