Day 01

Nha Trang Cathedral, Pagodas, and Countryside Crafts

  • Pick up from the hotel at 8 am.

  • Visit the Stone Church, commonly known by locals as Mountain Church or Nha Trang Cathedral, built in 1928 by French priest Louis Vallet.

  • Proceed to Long Son Pagoda, which means "Dragon Stayed on the Mountain." It was built in 1886 on top of Trai Thuy Hill.

  • Climb more than 150 steps to reach the top and see the White Buddha "Sakyamuni" statue sitting on a 24 m-high lotus pedestal.

  • Turn onto Phan Dinh Giot Street and head to the Nha Trang countryside.

  • Stop at a local house and meet two artists with 40 years of experience making clay stoves by hand.

  • Walk to the house of the mat weavers, who have 30 years of experience in mat weaving.

  • Visit an ancient wooden house in Nha Trang to learn more about its culture and Vietnamese architecture.

  • Stop near the rice farm and learn about the different types of rice in Vietnam.

  • Discover Tong Lam Lo Son Pagoda and visit the biggest Buddha statue, standing 44 meters tall.
