Chernobyl Exclusion Zone and Pripyat Discovery
- 08.00-8.30 am: Gather near Kyiv railway station at S. Petliura Street 28 (Old Comintern), in the parking lot near the service center "Stolichniy", for registration and document checks.
- 08.30-10.00 am: Depart from Kyiv for the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. Receive information from the guide about radiation safety rules and watch specially prepared video materials about the 1986 Chernobyl disaster.
- 10.00-10.20 am: Arrive at the "Dityatki" checkpoint and go through passport control. Listen carefully to information from the local guide, who will accompany the group during the 30 km drive.
- 10.20-11.00 am: Dive into the world of the Chernobyl tragedy. The guide will provide qualified information about the past, present, and future of the Chernobyl zone.
- 11.00-12.30 pm: Explore Pripyat's Elias Church, the Park of Glory, the river port, and the memorials "Those Who Saved the World" and "Heroes of Chernobyl." See an abandoned village, a channel station, and giant catfish being fed.
- 12.30-13.30 pm: Visit the famous fourth reactor of Chernobyl and see the "Shelter" from an incredibly close distance.
- 14.00-14.30 pm: Stop for lunch.
- 14.30-15.30 pm: Visit the secret Chernobyl-2 facility and the Duga radar station.
- 15.30-17.00 pm: Walk through the ghost town of Pripyat and explore its famous amusement park and Ferris wheel.
- 17.00-19.00 pm: Return to Kyiv.
