The itinerary

Day 01

Cape Town Coastline to Stellenbosch

Get picked up from your accommodation by the South African tour guide in selected Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Somerset West, or Strand areas.
Visit Hout Bay and wander around the craft markets or relax at the beach in this working harbour.
Go on the Duiker Island Cruise (optional at extra cost) and enjoy a boat trip to a large colony of Cape fur seals.
Head for Chapman's Peak Drive and take a spectacular drive along the Peninsula.
Continue to the Cape of Good Hope Reserve and observe wildlife in a fynbos landscape.
Move on to Cape Point, Africa's most south-westerly point.

Overnight in Stellenbosch - enjoy the campus nightlife.

Day 02

Township Culture, Winelands and Cape Agulhas

Go to Kayamandi Township and take a guided walking tour through this vibrant township.
Head for a wine tasting with cheese and chocolate, and visit some of the popular wine estates scattered around the Western Cape towns of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Sample some of the country's most acclaimed wines, pairing them with locally produced cheeses and even chocolate.
Stop in Franschhoek for lunch.
Visit Cape Agulhas and travel to the southernmost tip of Africa.

Overnight in Cape Agulhas.

Day 03

Hermanus, Gansbaai and Betty's Bay Return

Choose one - relax in Hermanus, or go shark cage diving in Gansbaai.
Visit Hermanus and enjoy the morning in this laid-back coastal town. Have a 'whale' of a time at this spectacular land-based whale-watching spot. Whale season runs from June to November.
Enjoy shark cage diving (optional at extra cost). The brave at heart rise early to go cage diving with the Great White sharks.
Go to Betty's Bay and get close to a colony of over 5000 African penguins in their natural habitat.
Head for Clarence Drive and enjoy a scenic route along the False Bay coastline.
Travel back to reach your accommodation in Cape Town, Stellenbosch, Somerset West, or Strand areas by late afternoon.

Know before you go

Pick-up time for join group tour packages is early morning, between 06:00 am and 08:00 am, but an email with the exact pick-up time will be sent a few days before the tour departs.
The transfer service will collect you from your preferred Cape Town address within approximately 10 km of the city centre, or from a street address in the Stellenbosch or Somerset West area.
Passengers must be ready at the confirmed pick-up time to avoid delays.
It is not advised to make any scheduled arrangements, especially flights, for the return or last day of the tour, as traffic and weather can delay the approximate drop-off times.
