The itinerary

Day 01

My Tho, Unicorn Island and Bến Tre Mekong Experience

08:00 am - Meet and greet your Vietnamese tour guide at your hotel or Airbnb and travel to the Mekong Delta.
Along the freeway, enjoy views of the beautiful paddy fields and visit the historic Vinh Trang Pagoda to see its three enormous Buddha statues.
10:15 am - Arrive at the 30/4 boat station and take a boat ride to Thoi Son Island, also known as Unicorn Island, to understand the local culture of the South and see how locals live on the island. Visit a bee farm and try local honey tea.
11:15 am - Taste delicious seasonal tropical fruits and listen to the traditional folk music of Southern Vietnam as you venture deeper into the island to a fruit orchard.
12:10 pm - Row a boat on the calm waters of Coconut Canal.
12:30 pm - Take another boat ride to Bến Tre, the land of coconut, to learn how locals extract coconut juice and manufacture coconut candy and coconut oil.
1:00 pm - Enjoy a delicious Southern local lunch at a riverside restaurant.
2:00 pm - Head back to Saigon/Ho Chi Minh by boat and arrive at around 5:00 pm.
