Day 01

Arrival in Bucharest and City Discovery

  • Meet your Romanian tour guide at Bucharest International Airport and head to your hotel downtown.
  • Check in and begin exploring Bucharest on a walking tour.
  • Discover the old city, Stavropoleos Church, the Village Museum, the Palace of the Parliament - the second biggest building in the world after the Pentagon - and other sights with your Romanian tour guide.

Day 02

Bucharest to Tulcea and Crisan Village

  • Start in the morning and drive 3 hours and 30 minutes to Tulcea city.
  • Take a boat transfer to Crisan village, located in the heart of the Danube Delta.
  • Explore the amazing Danube Delta area on several boat rides, and enjoy traditional home-cooked meals based on fresh fish prepared by locals. On the day of arrival, enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Delta canals and lakes.

Day 03

Full-Day Danube Delta Exploration

  • Enjoy a full day exploring the Danube Delta. Your boat ride will take you through narrow canals and across beautiful lakes, where you can admire birds, nature, and vegetation.
  • Stop in a remote village, where you will enjoy a delicious home-cooked lunch. At 3 pm, return to your village.

Day 04

Sulina, Wild Beach and Letea Forest

  • Enjoy another full day exploring the Danube Delta. Today, go to see where the Danube River flows into the Black Sea at Sulina.
  • Enjoy the wild beach of Sulina and visit the easternmost town in Romania.
  • Stop for another home-cooked lunch in Sulina. On this day, you will also walk in Letea Forest, an old subtropical forest, before heading back to your village.

Return from the Danube Delta to Bucharest

  • Head back to Bucharest.
  • Arrive in the afternoon.
