The itinerary

Day 01

Bucharest to Brasov via Sinaia and Bran Castle

Meet your tour guide in the morning at your hotel in Bucharest and begin the tour.
Head to Sinaia with your Romanian tour guide.
Marvel at Peles Castle, the former summer residence of Romania's royal family. Peles is one of the most beautiful castles in Europe.
Visit Bran Castle and find out all about the legend of Dracula.
In the afternoon, reach the medieval town of Brasov and visit the old city.

Day 02

Brasov to Sighisoara via Viscri and Malancrav

Have breakfast and head to the Saxon village of Viscri.
Visit the Fortified Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stay in the beautiful old citadel of Sighisoara.
Continue to the Saxon village of Malancrav. Enjoy a traditional lunch in a lady's house in one of the villages.

Overnight in Sighisoara.

Day 03

Sighisoara to Sibiu via Biertan

Tour the medieval town of Sibiu. On the way, make another stop in Biertan village.
Visit the impressive Fortified Church, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Reach Sibiu and visit the old city: Large Square, Small Square, Council Tower, Lutheran Church, Catholic Church, Orthodox Cathedral, Bridge of Lies, and more, with your Romanian tour guide.

Day 04

Sibiu to Bucharest through the Olt River Valley

Head back to Bucharest along the Olt River Valley road.
Visit the main sites of Bucharest and learn about the story of communism in Romania, and how Bucharest was mutilated during the communist era.
