Perfume Pagoda, Yen River Boat Ride and Thien Tru Pagoda
- Pick up at 8:30 by your private tour guide from your hotel in Hanoi.
- After a 2-hour drive out of the city and into the rural area, begin your trip to the Perfume Pagoda. Located on the limestone rocks of Huong Son Mountain in beautiful and mystical surroundings, this is a complex of pagodas and Buddhist shrines built into the limestone cliffs. The most important and sacred pagoda is situated inside a cave known as Dong Huong Tich, "The Cave of Fragrant Traces".
- Relax on the rowing boat and set off on a 1-hour journey to Thien Tru quay. The peaceful scenery along the river is marvelous and impressive.
- On arrival at the foot of the mountain at Thien Tru quay, take a cable car ride to the main cave pagoda. The main pagoda is set in a huge grotto containing a highly decorative shrine with many stalactites and stalagmites.
- After visiting the pagoda, trek downhill to the foot of the mountain for lunch in a restaurant.
- Then, go to Thien Tru Pagoda (Heaven Kitchen) to walk around and learn more about Buddhism. Stop here for some exclusive photography.
- Return to Hanoi.
