Fly to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2,652 m)

  • After an early breakfast, take a domestic flight to Lukla.

  • Upon reaching Lukla, begin trekking above the Dudh Koshi River and walk to Phakding.

Day 04

Trek from Phakding Toward Namche Bazaar

  • Continue walking toward Namche Bazaar. The journey takes two days at a more relaxed pace.

Walk to Namche Bazaar

  • Begin your uphill walk after check-in at the Sagarmatha National Park counter. As you approach Namche Bazaar, you can see the stunning Himalayas, including Mt. Everest.

Explore Namche Bazaar and Nearby Villages

  • Take short trips to explore the shrines, markets, and natural surroundings.

  • Walk around Khunde and Khumjung villages and witness the colourful monasteries and Chhortens along the way.

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Syangboche

  • Start trekking to Syangboche.

Trek from Syangboche to Lukla

  • Begin trekking down while witnessing white peaks, including Mt. Everest and Ama Dablam.

  • After breakfast, walk toward Lukla. It is a gentle walk through fields and forests. Celebrate your successful trek in the Everest Himalayas.

Fly Back to Kathmandu

  • After breakfast, fly back to Kathmandu. From Kathmandu airport, transfer to the hotel.

Know before you go

  • Nepal Hiking Trek recommends that you include some extra days in your trip because flights out of Lukla airport can experience long delays and cancellations, even due to cloud cover.
  • The Everest Luxury Trekking is for those who want to explore the Everest region's beautiful Himalayan scenery and Sherpa culture. The highest point on the trek is 3,948 meters (12,953 feet) at Syanboche, compared to 5,364 meters (17,600 feet) at the top of the classic Everest Base Camp trek. At several points on the trek, you will see Mt. Everest (8,848 meters, 29,029 feet).
