The itinerary

Day 01

Zanzibar / Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve

Depart from Zanzibar at 08:00 hours. If coming from Dar es Salaam, it will be a 45-minute ride to any airstrip (Mtemere, Siwandu, Matambwe, Siwandu, Beho Beho, Kiba, Sumbazi, Stiegler's Gorge) near Selous Game Reserve.
Choose the airstrip depending on your accommodation and proceed with a game drive en route to your stay.
Arrive in time for lunch and relax until late afternoon.
Go for a short game drive after dinner and spend the night at any campsite (Rufiji River Camp, Lake Manze Tented Camp, Sable Mountain Lodge, and Selous Mbega Camp).

Meal plans include lunch and dinner.

Day 02

Morning Game Drive in Selous Game Reserve

Go for a morning game drive in Selous Game Reserve after breakfast. Spot animals including elephants, black rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, hippos, and crocodiles. Enjoy views of the thick surrounding green cover with our tour guide.

Meal plans include breakfast, picnic lunch, and dinner.

Day 03

Rufiji River Boat Safari or Walking Safari and Return

Start with a boat drive along the Rufiji River or opt for a walking safari with armed rangers after an early lunch.
Drive to the nearest airstrip for the return flight at 13:15 hours to Dar es Salaam/Zanzibar.

Meal plans include breakfast and lunch.
