Giza Pyramids, Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili
Pick up from your hotel for an excursion to the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus.
Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren. The tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramid of Chephren.
Then have lunch at a local restaurant and visit the Egyptian Museum, which features artefacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection spanning 5,000 years of art and is considered the world's largest and most precious collection of Egyptian art. Over 250,000 genuine artefacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen's collection of treasure, gold and jewellery, which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before being discovered in the 1920s.
Continue driving to Islamic old Cairo, where you can explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo's old bazaar. After your trip, return to the hotel.
