Day 01

St. Catherine's Monastery and Mount Sinai Climb

Sunset tour:

• Depart from Dahab at 08:00 am and begin with a visit to St. Catherine's Monastery.

• After lunch, climb Mount Sinai, taking in all of the spectacular surrounding views before reaching the summit to observe the amazing beauty of the sunset.

Sunrise tour:

• Leave Dahab at 23:00 and arrive at the Monastery at approximately 01:00.

• With an experienced guide, climb to the summit to enjoy the view of the star-studded night sky as you wait for the sun to rise over the horizon.

• The monastery closes every Sunday and is open from 10:30-11:30 on Fridays.
• On other days, the monastery is open from 09:00 until noon.
• The monastery is closed during Christian Orthodox holidays.
