The itinerary

Day 01

Jerusalem and the Dead Sea

Depart at 21:00 from Dahab.
Transfer to Taba, an Egyptian town near the northern tip of the Gulf of Aqaba.
Drive through the Arava Valley to the Dead Sea for a swim.
Arrival in Jerusalem begins with a panoramic view from Mount Olives.
Visit the holy sites of the three monotheistic religions: the Wailing Wall, the Temple Dome of the Rock, the Arab Market (Souq), and the Via Dolorosa, which leads to the Holy Sepulcher.
Drive through the New City towards the Dead Sea and back to Eilat.

Return to the Aqaba border.

Overnight in Eilat/Aqaba/Petra.

Day 02

Petra Archaeological Visit

After breakfast, drive to Petra.
Visit the Byzantine church, the Great Temple, the rock-carved Nabataean Temple, the Siq, and the Treasury.
Enjoy lunch in Petra.
Drive back to Aqaba to cross the border to Eilat.
Transfer from Eilat to Dahab.

Return to Dahab at 22.00.
