Arrival and Check-In
Arrive at our ticket office located at the Old Harbour in Reykjavík at least 15 min. before scheduled departure to check-in for the tour. Our friendly team will show you to our floating Visitor Centre, located onboard a permanently docked converted fishing vessel. That's where you meet our crew!
Boarding and Departure
Explore our one of a kind wildlife exhibition located in the Visitor Centre by the pier. There you can enjoy a multimedia show featuring images, videos, and facts about whales and marine life in Iceland. From there, you board the whale-watching vessel and the tour begins with a serene cruise out into the bay, where you can take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains bathed in the midnight sun.
Evening Whale Watching Cruise
Spend the next 2.5-3.5 hours cruising the bay in search of marine life such as minke whales, white-beaked dolphins, harbour porpoises, and possibly humpback whales. Experience the mystical ambiance as the sun casts its magical glow over the landscape where at times, the boat engines will be turned off to enhance your experience of the natural surroundings.
Return to Harbour with Mellow Music
On the way back to the port, our team will often put on mellow music that enhances the relaxing evening atmosphere. If you're in the mood, visit the onboard bar and try the special 'Whale Punch' or other beverages and refreshments available for purchase.
