Itinerary

1. Day 1 : Arusha to Tarangire National park

   • After breakfast at 8:30 am, meet the driver at Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel.

   • Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Tarangire National Park.

   • Stay at a campsite with a panoramic view, for dinner and overnight.

2. Day 2 : Tarangire to Serengeti

   • After breakfast, head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

   • Leave the highlands behind, descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains, rolling into the distance, as far as the eye can see.

   • Head to the Central Park area known as the Seronera, which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the Park. The Seronera River provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well-representative Serengeti's species.

   • Arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

   Dinner and overnight in the Seronera Camp.

3. Day 3 : Serengeti to Ngorongoro

   • After breakfast at the campsite, depart to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and enjoy a game drive en-route.

   • Stopover at Olduvai Gorge, which boasts of a history dating back to the dawn of time. It was here that the anthropologists Dr. Lois and Mary Leakey discovered the skulls of 'Nutcracker Man' and 'Handy Man' -  both very significant links in the chain of human evolution.

   • Arrive in time for lunch at the campsite.

   • After lunch, descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife on a half day's safari tour.

   Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Simba Campsite.

4. Day 4 : Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara

   • After breakfast, descend down the crater to see the BIG 5.

   • Then, drive to Lake Manyara.

   • See buffalos, giraffes, zebra, and many more species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall.

   Dinner and overnight at Jambo Campsite.

5. Day 5 : Lake Manyara to Arusha

   • After breakfast at the campsite, go on a full game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, with packed lunch. The Lake occupies a large area of the park; the forest starts just when you cross the park gate, along the base of the Great Rift Valley and hot springs to the west. The park is home to tree-climbing lions, buffalos, giraffes, hippo, troops of baboons, and also birds like flamingoes, ostrich, Egyptian geese, and more.

   • After picnic lunch, proceed for afternoon game drives. 

   • Later on, drive to Masai village to experience the activities of Masai people.

   • In the evening, drive back to the Arusha Tourist Inn Hotel overnight.
