A Day Exploring Mumbai's Jewish Heritage
The tour begins at Mumbai's oldest synagogue, where you will learn about its Judaic heritage, followed by a visit to the Magen David Synagogue.
Next, continue to the first Bagdadi synagogue, built in Bagdadi style. This is the only Bagdadi synagogue in the world designed in the shape of a building. It is located within the two well-known Jewish schools of Mumbai and also serves as a Jewish guest house.
After this, visit a Jewish cemetery and then continue to other synagogues in the evening. Here, see one of the most beautiful synagogues in the world - the Knesset Eliyahoo Synagogue.
Proceed to the David Sassoon Library, the second-largest library in Mumbai. Although many years have passed since it was built, it continues to be one of the most beautiful buildings in Mumbai.
A few steps away is the Jehangir Art Gallery, along with some other important heritage buildings.
Spend some time here shopping, then head towards the Gateway of India, Nariman Point, and finally Chabad of Mumbai.
