The itinerary

1
Day 01

Arusha to Tarangire National Park Safari

  • Early in the morning, drive from your hotel to Tarangire National Park, known as the 'Home of elephants', for a full-day game drive.

  • Upon arrival, see herds of elephants, pythons, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, greater kudus, and antelopes. Have lunch at the park.

  • In the evening, leave Tarangire National Park and continue to Twiga Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Drive to Serengeti National Park

  • After breakfast at Twiga Campsite, head early in the morning towards Serengeti National Park, home to the Great Wildebeest Migration. Have lunch before reaching the park.

  • Upon arrival, go for game drives to spot wildlife.

  • Later, continue to Nyani or Pimbi Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

  • Go for full-day game drives in Serengeti. Enjoy the Serengeti plains and spot herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, hippopotamus, Serengeti kopjes, and different types of birds.

  • By late evening, drive back to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

  • Early in the morning, go for a game drive.

  • Return to the campsite for breakfast and relax, or go once again for a game drive.

  • After lunch, head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

  • Upon arrival in Ngorongoro in the evening, check in to Simba Campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05

Maasai Boma Village and Olduvai Gorge Museum

  • Early in the morning, go for game drives. The park is home to gnu (wildebeests), plains zebras, Thomson's and Grant's gazelles, lions, spotted hyenas, leopards, cheetahs, endangered black rhinoceros, and African hunting dogs.

  • After brunch, drive to Olduvai Gorge Museum and then head to Maasai Boma village for a cultural tour.

  • In the late evening, return to the campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 06

Ngorongoro Crater to Twiga Campsite at Manyara

  • After breakfast, go for a game drive down into the Ngorongoro Crater until late afternoon to spot flamingos and other birds.

  • After a hot lunch, continue with the game drive or relax.

  • In the evening, check out of Ngorongoro Park and proceed to Twiga Campsite at Manyara for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 07

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

  • After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its legendary tree-climbing lions and impressively tusked elephants, for a half-day game drive.

  • After lunch, drive back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.

End of the tour.
