6-Day Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth Safari with Gorilla Trekking

• Enjoy an early breakfast at 6 am and kick-start the journey to Bwindi in South Western Uganda on the Masaka-Mbarara road, via the scenic Kigezi Highlands, with your Uganda tour guide.

• Reach Kisoro late in the evening and savour an authentic meal.

Overnight stay at the Travelers Rest Hotel in Kisoro (Buhoma Lodge / Gorilla Resort Camp / Lake Kitandara Camp / Engagi Lodge / Buhoma Community Rest Camp).

• Begin the morning with a substantial breakfast before setting out for a long and exhausting day.

• Report at 9:00 am to the park office with your guide and begin the trekking expedition through the dense forest in search of the magnificent mountain gorillas.

• The trek can last from 2 to 9 hours, depending on gorilla sightings. The quest to spot these giant apes may be tiresome, but seeing them in their natural habitat is extremely rewarding. Spend time photographing these fascinating relatives of ours.

Return, dine, and spend the night at Travelers Rest Hotel (Kisoro, Buhoma Lodge / Gorilla Resort Camp / Lake Kitandara Camp / Engagi Lodge / Buhoma Community Rest Camp).

• Enjoy a scenic drive to Ishasha, home of the tree-climbing lions.

• After breakfast, embark on a journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

• Access the park via the Ishasha sector and enjoy a game drive to see the famous Uganda kobs, tree-climbing lions, and mischievous monkeys.

• Drive to Mweya Safari Lodge / Hill Camp in the evening for dinner.

Overnight stay.

• Go for an early morning game drive through prime tracks, including the Kasenyi Track, before returning to your lodge for breakfast.

• After a break, proceed to Kyambura Gorge for a trek to see chimpanzees.

• Have a lunch cruise along the Kazinga Channel and enjoy a fascinating evening.
