The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival in Maumere and Transfer to Waturaka via Koka Beach

Upon arrival at Frans Seda Airport in Maumere, East Flores Island, our local guide and driver will pick you up and take you directly to Waturaka, a small village on the slopes of Mount Kelimutu. On the way, we will make a short stop at Koka Beach to enjoy the beautiful coastal view, with its white sand and crystal-clear blue seawater. Dinner and overnight stay will be at a homestay in Waturaka, a community-based tourism village (CBT) in Moni.

Day 02

Kelimutu Sunrise, Village Activities, and Transfer to Ende

Wake up at 04:15 AM and enjoy coffee or tea, while breakfast boxes are prepared for the trip to Kelimutu. At 04:45 AM, we leave for Kelimutu. We drive for 30 minutes to the parking lot, then walk uphill and climb 127 steps for another 30 minutes to reach the highest peak of Mount Kelimutu. From the top, you can witness the spectacular view of the three Crater Lakes with their different-coloured water.

After descending to the parking lot, we have breakfast. You can choose between trekking to Pemo village and the Kelimutu-Moni road, or participating in agrotourism activities in the farmers' fields of Waturaka village. Afterwards, we visit Mutu Lo'o to see the kitchen of the Kelimutu Volcano and Murukeba Waterfall. Then, we head to Ende city and visit Wologai village to see traditional houses with tall, thatched roofs. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Grand Wisata in Ende.

Day 03

Ende Heritage, Penggajawa Beach, and Bajawa

Depart for Bajawa, with visits to Ende traditional market and Museum Bung Karno, the former residence of Indonesia's first president, Ir. Soekarno. Continue to Penggajawa Beach, known for its blue pebble stones that emerge from the seabed.

Visit Wogo village to see traditional Bajawa houses. Upon arrival in Bajawa, check in to the hotel and visit So'a Hot Springs. Dinner and overnight stay at Hotel Roo in Bajawa.

Day 04

Wolobobo Sunrise, Traditional Villages, and Journey to Labuan Bajo

Leave early for Wolobobo Hill to watch the sunrise and enjoy the natural views. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then visit the traditional villages of Luba and Bena, known as 'Living Museums.'

Continue to Aimere to witness the process of distilling alcoholic beverages from lontar palm fruit juice. Proceed to Ruteng city for lunch, then visit the village of Cara in Cancar to see the unique 'Lingko' rice fields shaped like spider webs. Continue west to Labuan Bajo. Dinner and overnight stay at Puri Sari Beach Hotel in Labuan Bajo.

Day 05

Departure from Labuan Bajo

After breakfast, transfer to Komodo International Airport for your flight to your next destination.
