Day 01

Suzdal Kremlin, Wooden Architecture and Historic Monasteries

Meet your Suzdal tour guide and begin the tour.

• Visit Suzdal's white-stoned Kremlin. It is a museum with numerous exhibits dedicated to the history of Suzdal.

• Proceed to the Museum of Wooden Architecture. It was established in 1968 and consists of some of the oldest structures from the Vladimir region.

• After leaving the museum, explore the Nativity of the Virgin Cathedral, one of the most complex monuments of Russian medieval architecture.

• At the end of the tour, visit the Holy Intercession Convent. The monastery was used as a place of exile for women belonging to the royal family.
