Sonmarg lies in the Sindh Valley, covered with flowers and surrounded by mountains. It is also the base for some interesting treks to the high-altitude Himalayan lakes.

• Take a ride to Thajwas Glacier and enjoy a sledge ride down the snow slopes.

• Late afternoon, drive back to Srinagar.
