Day 01

Istanbul's Historic Icons and Grand Bazaar

After meeting, begin the tour at the Blue Mosque. This 400-year-old masterpiece from the Ottoman period is one of the imperial mosques in the city. It is also known as the Sultanahmet Mosque, as it was built by order of the Ottoman Sultan Ahmet I.
The second stop is the Hippodrome of Constantinople. Here, try to imagine the scenery of the chariot races and understand the monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, also known as the Egyptian Obelisk, the Serpentine Column, and the Column of Constantine.
Discover Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, formerly the Church of Hagia Sophia, a Late Antique place of worship in Istanbul designed by the Anatolian geometers Isidore of Miletus and Anthemius of Tralles. It is an almost 1,500-year-old masterpiece.
Head to the Grand Bazaar, a labyrinth of streets and passages with more than 4,000 shops, with each trade having its own area.
Explore the Topkapı Museum, which was once the residence and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman sultans.
