Day 1: Arrive in Beijing

- Pick up by the Beijing guide from your hotel at 8:30 am.
- Drive to visit the Great Wall of China, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is one of the remarkable feats of mankind, whose segments were built as long ago as 500 BCE. Archaeologists estimate that the wall once ran 6200 miles; today it is still impressive at 3750 miles.
- Have lunch at a local restaurant.
- Proceed to the Forbidden City, home to 24 emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Forbidden City was indeed a forbidden place, where commoners were kept out for nearly 500 years in the past.
- Transfer back to your hotel.
