Angkor Wat Sunrise and Siem Reap Temple Tour
- Pick up from your hotel at 5 am and drive to Angkor Wat for sunrise. We recommend packing breakfast from your hotel so you can see more temples and escape the mass of tourists.
- Explore Angkor Wat, the biggest religious temple site in the world, built on an area 1500 m long x 1300 m wide. Angkor Wat was registered as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1992 and is considered the new 8th wonder of the world. Hear its history and learn how people built it from your Cambodian expert licensed tour guide.
- Continue to Angkor Thom, which was the capital city of the last great King Jayavarman IIV. It sprawls about 3 km on each side.
- See Bayon Temple with 54 towers, and each tower has 4 big faces of Buddha on it. Then see 216 big faces of Buddha smiling at you.
- Visit more temples around the area, such as Baphoun, Pieman Akas, and the Terrace of Elephant, with your tour guide.
- Enjoy some Cambodian traditional dishes at a safe and hygienic restaurant around the temple recommended by your tour guide.
- Visit the last temple of the day, Ta Prohm, better known as the Tomb Raider temple. See the temple hidden in the jungle and a giant rooted claw on the roof of the temple, as the trees are almost 500 years old.
- Return to the city, and your tour guide will see you off at the hotel.
- Feel free to tell us if you want to explore sites in the city like the National Museum, Artisan Angkor, and Cambodian craft.
