The itinerary
Day 02
Flight to Kayseri and Visit to Cavusin and Pigeon Valley
Take an early morning flight to Kayseri Airport. Upon arrival, check in to the cave hotel.
After lunch, visit the old Christian village of Cavusin and Pigeon Valley, named after the hundreds of little windows carved into the rocks to attract nesting pigeons.
Overnight stay at the cave hotel.
Day 03
Devrent Valley, Göreme Open Air Museum and Uçhisar Castle
In the morning, drive to Devrent Valley, where the geographical formations remind us of another planet. Take a stroll through the small fairy chimneys.
Stop at Avanos for lunch. After lunch, visit the Göreme Open Air Museum.
Then drive to Uçhisar Castle, the region's highest point, where you will get a panoramic view of Cappadocia.
Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 04
Kaymakli Underground City and Old Greek Village of Sinasos
After breakfast, visit the underground city of Kaymakli, one of the largest subterranean settlements in Cappadocia, and then drive to the old Greek village of Sinasos.
After lunch, take the flight from Kayseri Airport to İstanbul.
Overnight stay at the hotel in İstanbul.
Day 05
Departure or Optional Bosphorus Boat Tour
After breakfast, depart for your onward journey.
An optional tour, "The Bosphorus Tour by Boat", is available at an extra cost.
