City Walls, Spice Bazaar and Bosphorus Cruise
Visit the City Walls, also called the Constantinople Great City Walls. They were breached only twice in 1600 years. The first breach occurred in 1204 during the Fourth Crusade, and the second was led by Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror in 1453 with cannons and troops.
Walk through the Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar). The air here is filled with the enticing aromas of cinnamon, caraway, saffron, mint, thyme, and every other conceivable herb and spice.
Enjoy a boat trip on the Bosphorus. Take this amazing cruise between the two continents, Europe and Asia, along the Bosphorus past Dolmabahçe Palace and Beylerbeyi Palace, wooden villas, and mansions, up to Rumeli Fortress near the Black Sea.
See Rumeli Fortress from the sea.
Pass by the biggest fortification of Istanbul during the Bosphorus cruise before returning to your hotel.
