Itinerary

1. Day 1: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

   • After breakfast at the hotel in Nairobi, get picked up at 7:30 am.

   • Depart overland to the Masai Mara Game Reserve - the jewel of Kenya. 

   • Have a pleasant drive across the dramatic Great Rift Valley.

   • After a short stopover for lunch, continue to Masai Mara Game Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains, famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration, and is home to the big five - Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino, and Cape Buffalo.

   • Enjoy an evening game drive from 4:00 pm – 6:30 pm.

   Overnight at Lenchada Camp. (Meals: Lunch & dinner)

2. Day 2: Explore Masai Mara

   • Enjoy a full-day game viewing from 7:15 am after breakfast, taking picnic lunch along, and returning to the camp at 5.00 pm. 
     • Optional: Visit the Masai village.
   • Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

   Overnight at Lenchada Camp. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

3. Day 3: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

   • Depart Masai Mara after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at the lodge in time for lunch. 

   • In the afternoon, a game drive is planned. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approximately 400 other species of birds in Lake Nakuru. In addition, a large variety of game can be found in the park, including the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon, and many species of plains game.

   • Overnight at a budget hotel. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

4. Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

   • Wake up early and depart for a morning game drive. 

   • Later, return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out.

   • Depart by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park, home to the legendary Masai tribesmen and famous for huge herds of elephants.

   • Lunch will be en-route. 

   • Upon arrival, conduct a game drive before arriving to camp. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and the rare and elusive leopard, nearly every vista within the park is framed by the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

   Overnight at Kimana Safari Camp. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

5. Day 5: Discover Amboseli National Park

   • Rise early for good views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit and set off for another stimulating game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from wildebeest to giraffes and baboons.

     • Optional: Visit a Masai village after breakfast. A visit reveals singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. 

   • Return to the lodge around midday for lunch and afternoon rest, followed by another extensive game drive.

   Overnight at Kimana Safari Camp. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

6. Day 6: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

   • Enjoy a game drive to the secluded heart of big game country. In addition to elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and lions, nearly every vista within the park is framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

   • Have breakfast at the lodge.

     • Optional: Visit a Masai Village.

   • Depart for Tsavo West National Park.

   • After check-in and lunch, an afternoon game drive in this vast park is planned. 

   Overnight at Rhino Valley Lodge. (Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner)

7. Day 7: Tsavo West to Nairobi

   • After an early morning game drive and breakfast, depart for Nairobi, arriving late afternoon. 

   • As the adventure comes to an end, depart with a lifetime of memories to cherish.
