Requena Vineyards, Historic Centre and Cave Houses
Take the popular wine route to learn about wine cellars, vineyards, and wine. With 18,000 hectares spread across various municipalities, this is probably one of the largest vineyard cultivation areas in Spain, and wine production has continued to grow. Extending across the neighbouring towns of Camporrobles, Caudete, Fuenterrobles, Seven Waters, Sinarcas, Utiel, Venta del Moro, and Villargordo del Cabriel, the Utiel-Requena region has a total vineyard area of over 40,000 hectares, of which more than 94% are red varieties and the rest are white varieties.
Learn about the historic centre of the town, which still preserves stories and remains from Roman times.
