Kom Ombo and Edfu Temple Excursion
Pick up from your hotel in Aswan by your tour guide/representative to enjoy a tour of the temples.
Visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, standing on high ground overlooking the Nile. It differs from other temples because of its double entrance, with each one dedicated to a divinity: 'Haroeris' with his falcon head and 'Sobek' with his crocodile head.
Discover the beauty of the Temple of Kom Ombo, built in honour of two deities: the crocodile-headed Sobek, the god of fertility and creator of the world, and Haroeris, or the ancient falcon-headed Horus.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Cross the Nile to Edfu, where you will be transferred by horse carriage to visit the majestic Temple of Horus (Temple of Edfu), considered by most to be the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt.
Transfer to Aswan.
