Sharm El Sheikh to Petra via Nuweiba and Aqaba
You will be transferred from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh to Nuweiba by a modern air-conditioned bus, a journey of approximately 3.5 hours.
Upon arrival in Nuweiba, you will be met and assisted.
Take the boat to Aqaba, where you will again be met and assisted, before continuing directly to Petra for a full-day visit. Discover the red rose rock city, the city of the Nabateans, and the lost city carved into the mountains. Enjoy a horse ride to the Siq, a natural crack in the rocks that the Nabateans developed as part of their architectural structure, then walk through the 1.2 km canyon and admire the beautiful carvings of statues, idols, and niches.
On the way to the Treasury, you will wonder when it will suddenly appear around the corner, where it has stood for more than 2000 years.
Continue along the Street of Facades to the Roman Theatre, the royal tombs, the Roman colonnaded street, Qasr al-Bent, and the archaeological museum.
After lunch, return to Aqaba for a short city tour and some free time for shopping, then head back to Nuweiba and drive on to Sharm El Sheikh.
