Arrival, Zambezi Sunset Cruise and Departure

Day 1: Victoria Falls Hotel, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation. In the afternoon, relax on a luxury sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.

Enjoy a brief history of the river with a cocktail in hand as you set out on the sunset cruise. Snack on delicacies from the high tea selection, as well as other delectable snacks, and enjoy any of the thirst-quenching beverages from the fully stocked bar while taking in the wild Zambezi.

Day 2: Victoria Falls Hotel, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

After breakfast, you will be taken on a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. There will still be time for optional activities should you wish to book additional excursions.

What to bring

Pack light with soft-sided luggage (ideally under 15 kg). Focus on breathable, neutral-coloured clothing, sun protection, layered warmth for chilly mornings, and your essential camera gear.
Clothing Colors: Pack lightweight, neutral-coloured cotton clothing (khaki, beige, olive). Avoid bright whites, dark blues, and blacks, which attract tsetse flies. Avoid camouflage patterns, as they are illegal for civilians in several African nations.

Know before you go

It is essential to know that scheduled small-group tours enforce a strict 15 kg (33 lbs) luggage limit per person. This is lower than the typical 20 kg commercial airline limit and requires travellers to pack efficiently in a soft-sided bag.

Soft Bags Only: Rigid, hard-shell suitcases are heavily discouraged. Soft bags fit better into safari vehicle compartments and light aircraft transfers.
Passport Validity: Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date and contain at least 2 to 3 consecutive blank pages.
Visas: Many travellers from the EU, UK, USA, and South Africa do not need a visa for short stays in countries like Botswana. Double-check requirements if your tour crosses into Zimbabwe.
