Bago Historical and Buddhist Heritage Tour

Drive out of Yangon to visit Htauk Kyant Allied War Cemetery and Htauk Kyant Market.
Visit the pottery shops in Bago.
Pay a visit to Shwemawdaw Pagoda, the highest pagoda in Myanmar.
Explore Hintha Gon Pagoda, a hilltop pagoda marked by symbols of Hinthar birds. Look for the great Female Buffalo Spirit here.
Marvel at the excavated 16th-century Kanbawzathadi Palace.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
Travel to the Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha Image.
Visit the Mon villages and see their way of life.
Pay obeisance to the Mya Tha Hlaung Reclining Buddha Image and continue to Mahazedi Pagoda.
