Here, visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - the Great Pyramid of Giza - along with the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, and the famous Sphinx. Visit the Valley Temple of Khafre right opposite the Sphinx as well.

  • Have lunch at a good local restaurant. Then, you will be taken to the Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. Among the displayed artefacts are two statues of King Tutankhamen made of cedar wood and covered with gold, a statue of King Akhenaten, Ushabti statues that belonged to the Nubian kings, a mummy of a child, and a small Pharaonic polychrome glass vase.

  • Then visit Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. The unique area of Coptic Cairo is a part of Old Cairo that has a concentration of Christian churches and other sites dating from the centuries between the decline of the pharaonic religion and the arrival of Islam, when Egypt had a Christian majority.
