Day 7-8 | Maun - 3rd Bridge
You can look forward to more extensive game drives in one of the best regions for wildlife sightings in Botswana. Savuti is an area that can change dramatically depending on whether the Savuti Channel is flowing or has dried up. Until a few years ago, this channel had dried up completely. For more than three decades, no water ran in the Savuti Channel. In 2010, its water reached the marsh for the first time since the long dry period. The presence or absence of water can greatly transform the dynamics of the area - there is no way to predict when and if it flows. You have enough time to enjoy the big and small moments on your game drive and can experience the natural world extensively together with your professional guide. You end the day by the campfire and under a blanket of stars twinkling in the sky.
