Day 1 | Maun - Moremi Game Reserve, Xakanaxa/3rd Bridge Area

You will be greeted at Maun Airport and, after a warm welcome, climb aboard your light aircraft for the flight to the Moremi Game Reserve.

After landing on a secluded airstrip in the reserve, you will be met by your guide and soon enjoy a picnic lunch. The drive to your camp may already offer your first safari impressions, so be prepared for possible wildlife sightings before reaching camp in time for a lovely sundowner.

Enjoy dinner under a star-filled night sky before stepping into your mobile safari tent and climbing into your comfortable bed with the sounds of the African bush around you.

Day 2 | Moremi Game Reserve, Xakanaxa/3rd Bridge Area

You will explore your beautiful surroundings and, after a tasty breakfast, set out on a game drive in the Moremi Game Reserve in an open-view safari vehicle.

Moremi's amazing ecosystem is home to elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, as well as a variety of antelope species. It is also one of the last refuges for several endangered species, including the African wild dog, the cheetah, and both the white and black rhino.

The safari offers spectacular wildlife sightings in the unspoilt wilderness of the Moremi Game Reserve. After an exciting day, you return to camp and relax with a cold beverage in your pristine natural surroundings.

By evening, your safari kitchen will have prepared another delightful dinner for you before you climb into bed and rest up for your next adventure.

Day 3 - 5 | Moremi Game Reserve, Khwai Area

Enjoy a timely breakfast before starting your journey to the Khwai Area within the Moremi Game Reserve. Along the way, you can stop for a lovely outdoor picnic lunch. Over the next couple of days, you will have ample time to immerse yourself in this fantastic landscape of floodplains and wetlands.

You have the opportunity to go on a safari of a different kind: a mokoro tour. These traditional dugout canoes are steered by a local poler who knows the mysterious web of rivers and can potentially glide you close to many wildlife sightings. It is a classic Botswana experience and one of the best ways to appreciate the country's unique natural beauty.

In the evenings, you can look forward to a delicious dinner freshly prepared by your camp staff.

Day 9 - 10 | Chobe National Park, Riverfront

Enjoy breakfast before continuing your journey north. Your destination is the majestic Chobe River, near which your camp will be set up.

Once again, you can appreciate the advantages of a mobile camping safari: you are right in the middle of the wildlife action, yet you do not have to give up comforts such as a real bed and a private en suite bathroom with a warm shower. The Chobe River is the lifeblood of the many different animals found here. Keep your eyes open for hippos, lions, buffaloes, as well as puku and sable antelopes.

Despite boasting a variety of wildlife, Chobe National Park is most associated with its tremendous elephant herds. A single herd of elephants in Chobe can consist of up to 300 members, which is substantially higher than in other wildlife areas.

In the afternoon on Day 9, you take to the water on a boat cruise. Here, there are no bumpy or dusty roads to negotiate, and you can comfortably observe the various animals coming to the river's edge to drink.

When the sun throws its magical golden glow over the famous river, while you are surrounded by elephants and buffaloes and effortlessly glide along the water, you will understand why Chobe is such a special safari destination.
