5-Day Cairo Desert Safari through Bahariya, White Desert and Gara Cave

• Early morning transfer by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to Bahariya, 365 km by road, with about 4 hours of driving.

• Upon arrival in Bahariya, depart by 4WD jeep to the White Desert, covering 160 km on-road and 10 km off-road.

• Transfer to visit the Black Desert and the dunes area.

• Start climbing a 50-meter dune.

• Lunch in El Hiez Village.

• On the route to Farafra, visit the Desert Roses.

• Visit El Akabat, and then head to the White Desert.

• Start exploring the formations and wind-carved sculptures.

• Then continue to the New Desert. In the evening, enjoy a barbeque dinner and sleep under the stars in a camp.

• Then head to Ain Khadra for lunch.

• Continue to Santa tree, also known as the Magic tree.

• After that, drive on to the White Desert Cave, then continue to Agabat of Farafra, known for its tower mountains.

• In the evening, have a barbeque dinner and stay overnight under the stars in a camp.

• After breakfast, set off on a tour to Gara Cave at 8:00 h, covering 174 km off-road.

• Lunch on the way at the foot of the sand dunes.

• Dinner and overnight in the cave area in a camp.

• After breakfast, depart for Bahariya, where you can walk around the old village of the oasis and see palm and fruit tree groves.

• Then take a trip to the Black Mountains, the dunes, and the salt lake.

• After that, see the Temple of Ain El Muftella, which was once the main water source of the old capital of the oasis.

• Visit the ruin on a hill, the English House, and enjoy the panoramic sunset view from there.

• Overnight in Bahariya.
