3-Day Makgadikgadi Safari from Maun with Boteti River Camp

Pick-up from Maun and transfer to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park.

In the afternoon, you will arrive at your camp at an exclusive BOGA/Hatab site. The camp staff will have pre-erected your tents, complete with comfortable bedding and private en-suite facilities.

Later in the afternoon, you will embark on your first game drive along the Boteti River valley, a critical water source where you can witness large congregations of elephants, giraffes, and the start of the zebra migration.

In the evening, return to camp for a fire-cooked three-course dinner under the stars.

Set out on an early sunrise game drive to track predators such as black-maned lions, cheetahs, and elusive leopards, which are most active during the cooler dawn hours.

At mid-day, return to the campsite for a hearty breakfast and relaxation during the heat of the day.

At sunset, enjoy a "sundowner" stop in the bush.

Early in the morning, enjoy one final game drive at first light, focusing on any species missed during the previous days or visiting the Boteti River for a last-minute wildlife sighting.

By mid-morning, return to camp for breakfast and pack up.

At noon, transfer back to Maun, arriving in the afternoon for your onward travel or flight.
