  • Please note that Trapezitsa is closed to visitors during part of the winter season. The site is scheduled to be closed from December 1 to March 31.
  • If Trapezitsa is closed or access is restricted due to weather conditions, maintenance works, or official regulations, the itinerary may be modified accordingly.

The standard meeting point is Tsar Ivan Asen I Square, directly in front of the main entrance to Tsarevets Fortress. Alternatively, by prior arrangement, your guide can meet you at your hotel in Veliko Tarnovo and accompany you to the starting point of the tour using local public transportation. Please note that no private transportation is provided.
