The itinerary

Day 01

Fly from Dar es Salaam to Ruaha National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer from your hotel to the airport for a short flight to Iringa, approximately one hour.
Upon arrival, your professional driver-guide will welcome you and drive you to Ruaha National Park, a scenic journey of approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Enjoy a guided game drive through the park's diverse landscapes while spotting a variety of wildlife with your experienced safari guide.
Return to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02

Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Ruaha National Park with packed lunch boxes.
Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic site selected by your guide before continuing the safari adventure.
The game drive focuses on wildlife-rich areas including the Great Ruaha River, Mwagusi Sand River, and Mdonya River, where a variety of animals can often be spotted.
In the late afternoon, drive back to Iringa for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Return Flight from Iringa to Dar es Salaam

After breakfast, your driver-guide will transfer you to Iringa Airport for your scheduled flight back to Dar es Salaam.
Upon arrival, transfer either to the ferry terminal for your afternoon or evening ferry to Zanzibar, or to your hotel for an overnight stay, depending on your travel arrangements.
