1. Saghmosavank is a 13th-century Armenian monastic complex located in the village of Saghmosavan in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. Like Hovhannavank Monastery, which lies five kilometers to the south, Saghmosavank is situated atop the precipitous gorge carved by the Kasagh River.

The Armenian Alphabet Park is located near Artashavan village in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. In 2005, the Armenian alphabet celebrated its 1600th birthday. To commemorate the occasion, 39 giant carved Armenian letters were placed here, near the final resting place of Mesrop Mashtots, the man who created the alphabet. It is 35 km from Yerevan.

The Armenian 1700 Memorial Cross refers to the Holy Cross Monument in Aparan, often associated with the village of Artashavan. This 33-meter-high structure was designed to commemorate the 1700th anniversary of Christianity in Armenia.

Symbolism: It represents 1700 years of Armenian Christianity since 301 AD.

Structure: The monument is composed of more than 1,700 smaller crosses and is designed to maintain its cross shape from every angle.

Tradition: It is reported that one new cross is added to the structure annually.
