Day 1: Machame Gate (1,800m) → Machame Camp (3,000m)
- Distance: 11 km. Hiking Time: 5–7 hours. Habitat: Rainforest.
- Your adventure begins at Machame Gate after registration and briefing before entering Kilimanjaro National Park.
- Trek through lush rainforest filled with giant trees, thick ferns, and occasional sightings of colobus monkeys.
- The trail is humid and often muddy, offering a physically engaging start surrounded by rich biodiversity.
- Arrive at Machame Camp in the late afternoon for rest and overnight camping.

Day 2: Machame Camp (3,000m) → Shira Camp (3,840m)
- Distance: 5 km. Hiking Time: 4–6 hours. Habitat: Moorland.
- Leave the rainforest behind and enter the moorland zone with cooler air and open landscapes.
- Ascend steadily along steeper terrain with expanding views of Shira Plateau and Mount Meru in the distance.
- Vegetation becomes sparse as volcanic scenery dominates the route.
- Reach Shira Camp early for rest and acclimatization at higher altitude.

Day 3: Shira Camp (3,840m) → Lava Tower (4,630m) → Barranco Camp (3,960m)
- Distance: 10 km. Hiking Time: 6–8 hours. Habitat: Semi-desert.
- This is an important acclimatization day as you climb to higher altitude before descending again.
- Trek steadily to Lava Tower where altitude effects become noticeable.
- Descend into the scenic Barranco Valley after acclimatization at higher elevation.
- Arrive at Barranco Camp surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery.

Day 4: Barranco Camp (3,960m) → Karanga Camp (4,035m)
- Distance: 5 km. Hiking Time: 4–5 hours. Habitat: Alpine desert.
- Begin the day by climbing the famous Barranco Wall, a non-technical but exciting scramble.
- Enjoy panoramic views from the top before descending into Karanga Valley.
- Continue through alpine desert terrain with steady altitude gain.
- Reach Karanga Camp for a shorter trekking day focused on recovery.

Day 5: Karanga Camp (4,035m) → Barafu Camp (4,640m)
- Distance: 4 km. Hiking Time: 3–4 hours. Habitat: Alpine desert.
- Ascend gradually through rocky and barren terrain towards the high-altitude base camp.
- The landscape becomes increasingly harsh as oxygen levels decrease.
- Arrive at Barafu Camp, the staging point for the summit attempt.
- Rest early and prepare for the midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak.

Day 6: Barafu Camp (4,640m) → Uhuru Peak (5,895m) → Mweka Camp (3,100m)
- Distance: 17 km. Hiking Time: 10–14 hours. Habitat: Arctic → Rainforest.
- Begin the summit attempt at midnight under freezing Arctic conditions.
- Trek slowly towards Stella Point, reaching it at sunrise with breathtaking views.
- Continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa at 5,895 metres.
- Descend back to Barafu Camp for rest before continuing to Mweka Camp for overnight stay.

Day 7: Mweka Camp (3,100m) → Mweka Gate (1,640m)
- Distance: 10 km. Hiking Time: 3–4 hours. Habitat: Rainforest.
- Descend through dense rainforest with changing vegetation and warmer air.
- Continue steadily down to Mweka Gate, marking the end of the trek.
- Receive your summit certificate upon completion of the climb.
- Celebrate your achievement before transfer from Kilimanjaro National Park.
