Payment for Tickets: Entry tickets for Karnak and Luxor Temples must be paid by credit/debit card. Cash is no longer accepted at the gate.

Photography Policy: Photography with mobile phones is free, but professional cameras or tripods may require a special permit (can be arranged if needed).

Sun Protection: High SPF sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses (The Luxor sun is intense even in winter).

Light Clothing: Breathable cotton or linen clothes. If visiting in winter, bring a light jacket for the early morning or late afternoon.

Power Bank & Camera: You will want to take many photos of the inscriptions and reliefs.

Refillable Water Bottle: To stay hydrated (though bottled water is provided in the vehicle).
